About Elena SARTORI
Elena SARTORI is born in Ravenna. After
obtaining the diploma as pianist and some years of intense concert activity
(First Prize at the Contest for Chamber Music of Turin), she also got the
diploma as organist and organ composer with full marks and summa cum laude.
She graduated in History of Music with full marks and summa cum laude,
disputing a thesis on Gregorian Chant. Elena SARTORI has specialized for six years studying with Daniel
Chorzempa (being the only Italian organist admitted) at the Conservatory of
Basilea and then at the Musik – Hochschule “Mozarteum” of Salzburg. She has been attending the courses for conductor of orchestra by
Helmut Rilling at the Bach – Akademie of Stuttgart. She has given concerts as organist, vocalist and conductor in all the
most important Italian festivals, and also in Germany, France, Austria,
England, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxemburg, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia-Erzegovina,
Portugal and Japan, collaborating with the most famous institutions such as
the London Symphony Chorus, the Orchestra della Fondazione Toscanini of Parma
and the Opern Studium of Salzburg. Elena SARTORI has studied vocality with Claudio Cavina and Michel Von
Goethem. She is the Chorus Master of the Associazione Polifonica of Ravenna. She teaches Gregorian Chant at the Fondazione “Patrizio Paoletti” of
Assisi. She has recorded seven CDs for labels such as Tactus, Stradivarius,
Bongiovanni and for Amadeus magazine. |
